Brad is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Iowa and provides design associated with roads and streets, subdivisions, parking lots, water and sewer, drainage structures, sewage lagoons, sanitary sewer lining, recreational trails, or other engineering and construction survey work.

Brad has sixteen years of engineering and construction experience and has been with Beck Engineering for the past nine years. Brad has completed various project types from basic site engineering to complete subdivision design. A few projects Brad has worked on in the past include the Spirit Lake Pedestrian Underpass, the City of Okoboji PCC Paving and Low Impact Development Project, the 2004 ICPA award-winning Spirit Lake East Entryway, and the Historical Arnold's Park, Inc. Low Impact Development Project which was nominated for the 2007 Iowa Stormwater Conference Award for Outstanding Performance - Water Quality. Brad is also the City Engineer for the City of Okoboji.

When possible, Brad's projects include low impact methods in the interest of protecting the area lakes. His objective is providing quality and cost effective engineering services.

Jeff is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Iowa and provides design and management services associated with roads and streets, bridges, drainage structures, parking lots, subdivisions, or other engineering services.

Jeff has twenty-six years of engineering and construction experience while working for Lyon County, Iowa as the County Engineer and has concurrently worked for BEI for the past nine years. Jeff has extensive experience in design and construction of County-owned bridges, drainage structures, and roadways, as well as project letting and management expertise. Jeff has twice received smoothness awards from the Asphalt Paving Association for his work.

Jeff has developed many contracts with government and industry personnel which helps him find solutions and answers to all your engineering needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Jason Eygabroad, E.I.

Experience
Jason is a practicing Civil Engineering Intern in the State of Iowa and is involved in many stages of the design process. This includes both topographic and construction survey, as well as the required drawings and calculations required for roadway and utility design. He is also involved with legal boundary surveys.

Jason has tne years of engineering and construction experience and has been with BEI for three years. Prior to joining BEI, Jason was involved in Heavy Highway Construction. Jason has completed various projects ranging from basic site plans to complete roadway design. A few examples of past and current projects include the City of Arnolds Park's Hinshaw Bridge, the City of Okoboji PCC Paving and Bioretention Cell Project and the City of Spirit Lake Highway 71/38th Street Turning Lane Project.

Jason's objective is to provide quality engineering and land surveying services for both the private and public sectors.

Richard began working for BEI after thirty-four years in the field of education. Richard's work includes topographic surveys, lot pin searches, field work for boundary surveys, and construction staking. Richard has been with BEI for eight years. Projects Richard has been involved with include the Estherville Airport Runway, the Historical Arnold's Park, Inc. Low-Impact Development Project, and the Award-Winning Spirit Lake East Entryway Project.

John Hight, Student Intern

Experience
John is a practicing Civil Engineering Intern in the State of Iowa and is involved in many stages of the design process. John is primarily involved with project planning, virtual site design, and general survey work. .p>

In addition to working at Beck Engineering, John has served as the 2006-2007 Student Senate President of Iowa Lakes Community College while attending the Estherville campus. John led a Senate Body of twelve students who governed the student body and provided and coordinated activities for the five campuses across Northwestern Iowa. Another position of leadership John held was the CADD Club President and he received 3rd place at the Iowa Skills USA Technical Drafting Competition.

John is developing an eye for design and is quickly learning the ropes of civil engineering through his mentorship under Brad. He is excited to be in a position where he can help his home community grow and develop.
